Today would be/is your GOLDEN BIRTHDAY. Turning 25, on the 25th, in 2025.

For your birthday, we are driving a campaign to fund a flag football program here locally in Wauwatosa/Milwaukee. It’s time we made another splash and what better time to do it, than around your birthday.

We all had the chance to present this year’s NittyStrong scholarship in person. This was the first time we 3 had been back together since the first one.

Our applicant, Camden, shared a story of perseverance and determination that he faced growing up. Supporting his mother during her battle with cancer, and not letting it derail his ambitions. He came out on the other side with a mantra and reminder to Cherish The Moment.

He is going on to play Defensive End at Linfield College. We were blessed to be there to meet him and his family, you could feel the love.

It’s Giving Tuesday!

Did you know that over the past 5 years with a lot of support, collaboration, and a drive to keep Martin’s memory forever burning… we have given out over $29,000 in scholarships and grants? WOW!

Every single dollar counts, and every single donation makes a splash.

Last night The Foundation gave out our 6th Annual NittyStrong scholarship.

A gigantic shoutout to our recipient Averie Duyck, who will be headed to Western Oregon University next year.

It was an honor to be there in person to present the check with Kalvin, as we haven’t been in person to do it since the first scholarship.

This marks over $25,000 in gifts to students in the time since Martin said goodbye, to our donors - in all amounts and in all ways, thank you.

Also marking the retirement of Carolyn Lanthrum, who was instrumental in helping us facilitate the scholarships each year. Thank you Carolyn for all the years!

It was definitely a turning of the times.

His fire is burning bright.
