Familes & Youth, Inc./AmeriCorps We have three main focuses. We want to show the members the satisfaction and pride that comes from helping others in their community.

FYI/AmeriCorps is a community service based program that has been helping local students achieve academic success and providing after-school services for 20 years. In School Support where the AmeriCorps Members provide academic support to children ages K-5th grade who are preforming below their expected academic activities. Safe After School Programs provides a safe, fun and enriching environment

where children receive assistance with homework and subject specific tutoring and are provided the opportunity to participate in sports, field trips, arts and crafts activities and other engaging activities. Community Outreach our goal here at Families & Youth Inc./AmeriCorps is to encourage our Members to get involved in their community by creating opportunities for them to give back. We also host a 7-week summer camp called Enterprise City for children ages 7yrs to 14yrs old. The program is a great insight to the future for the children to learn about money management and the world of work by operating and working in their own little mock city.
