Club Friends! 🙂 Do you remember Annabelle?

In 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Annabelle and her two siblings suffered the heartbreaking loss of their mother. 💙 Their father, grappling with profound grief and uncertainty, was left to navigate a difficult decision about their care. It was during this challenging period that he discovered the Boys & Girls Club of Las Cruces—a choice that would profoundly impact their lives. The Club became a refuge for Annabelle and her siblings, offering a safe environment where they could heal, learn, and grow. 🤗

Today, we are proud to share that these three children are thriving. 🌟 Their father finds comfort in knowing his kids are not only safe but are also becoming happy and healthy individuals. The Boys & Girls Club has played a crucial role in this transformation, providing programs that nurture resilience, creativity, and academic achievement. As Annabelle put it, “I know we are taken care of here at the Club, and we can have fun, even on the sad days." 💙

We’re kicking off 2025 programming on Thursday, January 2nd, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and we’ve got some fun field trips lined up! We can't wait to see all of our members again and start the new year with some unforgettable adventures! Get ready for a blast – it’s going to be a fantastic start to 2025!

Meet Annabelle, Amelia, and Gabriel. 💙 In 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, they tragically lost their mother. The kids are absolutely loving learning about the garden and all the amazing critters that call it home! Even with the cold weather, our members can’t get enough of the garden and don’t want to stay inside. 🌿🐞

A special shoutout to Edgar, our resident gardener, who discovered his passion for gardening right here in this very building, thanks to his staff member Celina. Now, he's thrilled to share the joy of gardening with our members—just like he did when he was a Club kid! 🌱🌻

🎉 Guess who got a surprise treat on Friday? Our amazing members! 🍕

Mr. Slice and the awesome team from Papa Johns stopped by for a fun pizza party AND brought a gift! The kids had an absolute blast hanging out with Mr. Slice and enjoying some delicious pizza.
