Mesilla Valley Iris Society MVIS was started in 1971 with seven members: Gus and Edith Seligman, the Bryants, the Riles and Fern Gold. Fern is the last surviving member of the founders.

Good morning, iris lovers!
Mesilla Valley Iris Society members are ready for you to come by Mesilla Valley Mall today and come grab some rhizomes. This is your last chance to get some beauties!

We still have around 200 varieties left, so there's plenty of great stock left to choose from.

This year’s special: Spend $100 on rhizomes in a single transaction, and you'll get a $25 voucher for additional free rhizomes to use today!

As always, kids 12 and under get a free $3 rhizome to start their own garden.

Join Us for the Mesilla Valley Iris Society Annual Iris Rhizome Sale!

Date: September 12th & 13th (or until sold out)
Location: Mesilla Valley Mall, Las Cruces (near the theater)
Time: Starts at 9 AM to 8pm on Saturday the 12th and 10am to 4:00 PM on Sunday the 13th

We are excited to offer over 250 different varieties of irises this year!
Every year, the Mesilla Valley Iris Society hosts a spectacular rhizome sale at the Mesilla Valley Mall in Las Cruces. Irises are stunning flowers that bloom in the spring and come in a wide array of colors and patterns. Plant them at least 6 weeks before our first frost for a greater chance of blooms in the Spring!

Why Attend?
• Beautiful Irises: Each sale features pictures showing what each iris looks like, so you can choose your favorites.
• Expert Advice: Club members will be available to answer all your questions.
• Proven Growers: These rhizomes are excess from our Farm & Ranch Museum garden and our members' gardens, ensuring they thrive in our climate.
• Fresh and Clean: All rhizomes are freshly dug, cleaned, labeled, and dipped in a disinfectant solution.
• Affordable Prices: Prices range from $3-8, depending on the year of introduction.
A link to pictures of many of the irises offered for sale will be posted 1-2 weeks before the sale. Pictures will be added as we dig. We have already dug up the irises at the Farm & Ranch Museum.
