From layering vocals and EQing to building a beat together, young folks in Beat Buffet get time, tools, mentorship, and space to explore their creative process while developing real production, collaboration, and workforce skills. Creative access is equity—and young people deserve opportunities to learn by making.

Beat Buffet is about taking an idea and seeing where it goes.

DJ Chronix and T. Cruz move from lyrics and flow to drums, melodies, and song structure-learning the creative process by engaging together.

For youth ages 15-25, Beat Buffet creates access to tools, mentorship, and hands-on music production while building creative and workforce skills.

15-minte consultations are open for the weeks of Aug. 17 & Aug. 31. Tell us what you’re into, and we’ll customize a one-hour session for you.

🎬👻 Media Literacy Movie Night is back!

Join us at the Learning Action Buffet office for a night of horror, conversation, and critical thinking.

We’ll watch a horror film together, then record a live podcast discussion where we unpack the deeper themes, symbolism, and messages behind the movie. From social issues to culture, fear, and storytelling, we’ll explore how these films connect to the world we live in today.
