At the Children's Reading Alliance's First Teacher/Primer Maestro™ program, our childcare experience is so much more than supervision—it's an opportunity for children to learn, explore, and thrive. 📚🎶🔤🖍️

From hands-on learning activities and interactive storytelling to singing songs, reinforcing alphabet skills, and enjoying the joy of being read to, our little learners were fully engaged every step of the way. Each activity was thoughtfully differentiated to meet children where they are, recognizing that every child learns in their own unique way.

There is nothing more rewarding than watching children discover, participate, and build a love of learning through experiences designed just for them. Their curiosity, laughter, and excitement remind us why early childhood education matters so deeply.

We are excited to continue creating enriching environments where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn every day. ❤️

The Children's Reading Alliance is currently hiring for two flexible, on-call positions:

✨ First Teacher/Primer Maestro™ Facilitator
Empower parents and caregivers to become their child's first and most important teacher through our nationally recognized family engagement program.

✨ Childcare Provider / Book Distribution Event Facilitator
Provide engaging childcare during community events while helping distribute books and promote a love of reading among children and families.

If you're passionate about early literacy, enjoy working with families, and are looking for meaningful work with a flexible schedule, we'd love to hear from you!

There’s nothing better than filling our carts with amazing books that will soon find their way into the hands of children and families throughout our community. From beloved classics to exciting new discoveries, COAS Bookstore is always a treasure trove of affordable, high-quality books that help us keep our book distribution programs stocked and ready to inspire young readers.
