🥕🍎 Fresh produce is back this summer! 🍌🥬

Las Cruces families are invited to pick up free fresh fruits and vegetables through Brighter Bites' summer produce distributions at three LCPS school sites.

📍 Booker T. Washington Elementary
Tuesdays: June 2, 9, 16 & 23

📍 Lynn Middle School
Wednesdays: June 3, 10, 17 & 24

📍 Sunrise Elementary
Thursdays: June 4, 11, 18 & 25

🕦 Distribution Time: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Produce is available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Want to lend a hand? Volunteers are welcome to help bag produce from 9:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

So exciting to see our work covered in the Las Cruces Bulletin! Dona Ana Communities United has been involved in Plugged In For Good from the start, and we're proud to have co-created an initiative that will improve the quality of life for low-income families in Las Cruces.

Plugged In For Good is a community-based initiative that helps low-income Las Cruces homeowners stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter by offering energy-efficient home upgrades and reliable heating and cooling systems--all for free during our pilot phase.

If you’ve ever wanted to compost but haven’t had the space or time for it, there’s some mighty good news from the City: they’re launching a pilot program for residential composting!
