Some of the most unexpected partnerships can create something beautiful.

Athena is my AI assistant. I use AI to help me turn my stories, ideas, and experiences into songs—and together, we’re creating something I never imagined possible.

Creativity doesn’t have an expiration date. Sometimes, the right technology can help you find your voice in a whole new way.

You looked right through me. Big mistake.*👀

Sometimes, being underestimated is just the beginning.

Look into the mirror of your relationships and use the reflection to change what needs to be changed within your own consciousness. It is important to resist the temptation to make other people change without first looking at what needs to be shifted within yourself. It can seem quite miraculous that as you change yourself, the reflection in the mirror of your relationships changes, too.

When you look in the mirror and see that your collar needs adjusting, do you reach out to the reflection to adjust your collar? Of course not. You use what you see in the mirror to more effectively change what you need to change on your own person.

Your relationships are actually mirrors of your own consciousness. When you learn to see your own reflection in the quality of your relationships with others, you catapult yourself on your path of personal growth and spiritual evolution.

Some mornings I sit with my own reflection and ask the hard question: what needs fixing here? Not out there. Not in anyone else. Here.

Every relationship in your life is a mirror. Every frustration, every joy, every person who makes you crazy — they’re showing you something about yourself. Stop reaching for the glass to fix them. Adjust your own collar first.

That’s the work, Golden Babes. Look. Really look. Then change what’s yours to change.

Starting today, I’m opening up in a way I haven’t before. Over the next 11 days, on The Golden Babe Channel https://youtube.com/ I’m telling my Golden Story — the whole thing. Calcutta. A company built and lost. A husband I loved and buried. A hospital bed. A dog named Charlie whose collar tag I still hold some days. And how all of it built the woman standing here now, cannula and all, still showing up. This isn’t a highlight reel. This is survival, told honestly, one chapter at a time. Come with me. 💛

❤️” I Was a Caregiver Four Times. Now I Have Caretakers of My Own."

Caregiving changes you.

Losing that role changes you all over again.

I know. I lived it more times than most people live it once.

My mother. My husband Tark. My SoulFriend Jim. My best friend's mother.

For months. For years. My whole life revolved around one person at a time.

I became their advocate.

Their protector.

Their person.

Then one day... it was over.

Everyone expects you to grieve the person you lost.

Almost nobody tells you that you're also grieving the life you were living.

Your routine.

Your purpose.

Your identity.

The part of you that always knew what needed to happen next.

Now the roles have flipped. I have caretakers taking care of me.

And here's what I want you to know: it's a gift either way.

When I'm in the hospital, I thank every doctor and nurse who walks in that room. Not for taking care of me. For choosing a profession that saves my life every single time I'm there. That's not a job. That's a calling.

No matter who is caring for us... a daughter, a nurse, a stranger in scrubs... it's love. Somebody chose to show up for you. That's the gift.

If you've lost a caregiving role, hear me: there is nothing wrong with you. That loss is real. Grieve it too.

Golden Babes, I want to hear from you. What was the hardest part after your caregiving ended? Your story might be the thing that helps someone else feel less alone tonight.

Showing up IS the game. Even when the showing up looks different than it used to.

⭐️Sixteen years today.

I lost Tark on this day, sixteen years ago. And I'm sitting here right now, this minute, torn open all over again like it just happened.

I keep doing the math on my life. What would it have looked like if my father hadn't died when I was 13? What would it have looked like if Tark was still here? I was a kid pulled out of childhood too early, working the farm at 10, no one to catch me when my dad was gone. And then I found my person. I found Tark. And sixteen years ago, he was taken too.

I have to be honest. Right now, this minute, this is the hardest, scariest, loneliest I have ever been in my life. Not sixteen years ago. Not when I was 13. Right now.

I'm home alone. I've got a cannula in my nose and a walker by my bed and problems no one is walking through with me. I am facing this by myself. And when I sit with that, really sit with it, it tells me something true: the healthcare system was never built to protect women like me. Not homebound women. Not aging women. Not women alone. We are the ones falling through every crack they never bothered to fix.

I'm still here. But today, I'm not going to pretend that being here doesn't hurt like hell.

This reel is only a small part of a much bigger conversation. Watch the full video to hear why emotional readiness matters just as much as medical care.

A monitor can tell my doctor my oxygen is low.

It can send alerts.
It can track my vital signs.
It can recommend treatment.

But it can't answer the one question that matters most:

"How do you feel?"

As someone living this experience, I believe healthcare needs to care for the whole person—not just the diagnosis.

Technology saves lives.

Human connection helps people want to keep living.

That's the difference.

Do you think healthcare should place more emphasis on the emotional side of healing?

This reel is just a small part of a much bigger discussion. Watch the full video to hear the complete message about Hospital at Home, Aging in Place, and why emotional readiness may be the missing piece in modern healthcare.

No Machine Can Replace Emotional Readiness.

Hospital at Home and Aging in Place are transforming healthcare. Remote monitoring, connected devices, and real-time data are saving lives.

But there's one question technology can't answer:

Is the patient emotionally ready to receive care?

As someone who lives this reality every day, I've learned that healing isn't just about oxygen levels, heart rates, or red flags on a monitor.

It's about purpose.
It's about hope.
It's about believing your life still matters.

If someone doesn't feel they have a reason to keep fighting, no amount of equipment can create that motivation.

The future of healthcare isn't just smarter technology. It's designing systems that care for the human being behind the data.

That's the gap we need to close.
