Join the LHS band in playing at the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 am! We're inviting all community players to join in playing the armed services medley. No need for marching, as we'll be riding on a flatbed. The band is excited to honor our Veterans and have a blast making music with our community! Many of the benefits that veterans have earned by service, have been brought about by the hard work and efforts of fellow veterans and veteran organizations such as the American Legion. Walter S. Chears supports these goals as well as working locally with the Larned chapters of the Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders to help local veterans in need.
