A FIRST FOR THE COPGA!

Yesterday, we hosted the first-ever COPGA SD/WY Links & Leadership Event at Elkhorn Ridge Golf Club, bringing together PGA of America Golf Professionals from South Dakota and Wyoming for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and golf.

The day provided an opportunity for our Members to hear updates from Section leadership, share ideas and feedback, strengthen relationships with fellow PGA Professionals, and finish the afternoon with nine holes together.

As a Section serving Colorado, Eastern Wyoming, and South Dakota, it is important that we continue creating opportunities to connect with our Members throughout our entire footprint. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make our first Links & Leadership event a success.

A special thank you to our hosts, J.R. Hamblet, PGA, and Michael Mendelson, PGA, and the entire team at Elkhorn Ridge Golf Club for their hospitality.

💛 Yellow has never looked so bright!🐥

Yesterday, 38 of our Colorado PGA of America Golf Professionals & Associates poured their hearts (and swings) into the 2026 Play Yellow Birdie Bash.

A marathon of 72 holes of golf in a single day is no small feat, but driven by a shared mission to lift up our community, our teams carded a phenomenal 654 birdies.

Because of your incredible kindness and belief in what we do, we raised a total of $68,000. We are beyond thrilled to share that $34,000 will be awarded to both the PGA REACH Colorado Foundation and Children’s Hospital Colorado Children's Hospital Colorado .

This day wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing hospitality of our hosts at The Ranch Country Club The Ranch Country Club, and our deeply appreciated partners who stood by us: Tito's Handmade Vodka, Winston Collection, Branded Bills, and Donald Ross Sportswear.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making every single birdie count. If you would still like to be a part of the cause, you can use the link in our bio to donate to the Play Yellow Birdie Bash! Together, we’re changing lives! ⛳✨
