The Friends of Norwin Trails are excited to announce that a $23,300.00 grant has been awarded towards the Trolley Line Trail Study.

This grant was awarded by the Community Conservation Partnerships Program administered by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). The grant application was submitted in cooperation with North Huntingdon Township.

The Trolley Line Trail Study will start in 2026 and will determine the feasibility of developing a trail between Irwin, Larimer, and Hilltop Park. The study will gather input from the community to make sure the project fits the needs of our area. We’ll share more info as the project gets closer to kick-off.

Thank you to everyone for your contributions to this project. We couldn’t have done it without your support!
