Today is International Childhood Cancer Day, a day to raise awareness, improve understanding, and support children and adolescents with cancer, the survivors, and their families.

On this day we are thinking about all the families out there affected by childhood cancer, and honoring the little warriors who are still in the fight, those we have lost, and those who survived but still carry the battle scars. 🎗💛🫶

What an amazing day with Finn's Fighters on Sunday! Local pediatric oncology families enjoyed a complimentary photo shoot courtesy of Finn's Fighters, and were able to shop for some free clothing from Kailani's Kloset while they waited. There were so many smiles on faces as kids picked out festive holiday outfits, dresses, jackets, shoes, and more. A heartfelt thank you to Christen from Finn's Fighters for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful event, and to Under the Oaks for graciously hosting. 💛

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Scripps Howard Fund and Scripps Howard Foundation for their incredibly generous $1,000 donation to Kailani’s Kloset. This grant, made possible through their employee volunteer gift program, will help us continue providing free clothing to children facing cancer in our community and support special initiatives like our Halloween costume drive. We are deeply grateful for your support!

Spent some time today preparing for our holiday clothing event, and we’re off to a great start! But we could still use some more festive attire to help make the season merry and bright.

If you have any new or gently used festive shirts, pants, pajamas, sweaters, fancy dresses, or costume jewelry to donate we’d love to take them off your hands. Every donation will go directly to a local pediatric oncology family in our community.

This Halloween we were able to donate an amazing 89 costumes to local childhood cancer warriors and their siblings — thank you for making that possible! Now let’s see if we can top that for the holidays! 🎄 We have an event on December 7th and are collecting festive holiday attire.

New or gently used festive clothing — any size! (Think holiday pajamas, fancy dresses, cheerful shirts, and more.)
