Protecting the environment & waterways while creating a better quality of life for Prince George's County residents and local & small businesses.

In 2014, Prince Georges County was faced with an enormous regulatory challenge in the management of its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and its Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit. As a solution to these challenges, Prince George’s County leveraged the efficiencies of the private sector, Corvias Solutions, and together, implemented the Clean Water Partnership (CWP). The Partnership will retrofit up to 4,000 impervious acres throughout Prince George’s County with Green Infrastructure – with the flexibility to potentially grow to 15,000 acres of untreated impervious area by 2025 – while simultaneously driving local economic development by using local, small and minority businesses to build local capacity. This Partnership is the first public-private partnership of its kind to design, build, finance, operate, and maintain urban stormwater infrastructure in order to meet a municipality’s MS4 permit compliance requirements and is the first-ever P3 model to address stormwater at this scale.

Oxon Run #8 Update 💧

Stormwater runoff has long impacted Oxon Run, causing pollution, erosion, and flooding risks. The Clean Water Partnership stepped in to tackle the problem with innovative green infrastructure 🌱 designed to treat and manage runoff before it reaches local waterways.

Now nearing the finish line 🏁, the project is down to its final inspection. With full completion anticipated by June 2025, Oxon Run #8 will soon be another success in restoring clean water 💦, protecting the environment 🌍, and building a more resilient Prince George’s County. 🌿✅

is developing a Climate Action and Sustainability Plan for (HCMA),which spans nearly 24,000 acres across Southeast Michigan. This pivotal project involves creating a detailed greenhouse gas emissions inventory and devising sustainability strategies tailored to the needs of HCMA’s extensive park system.

Key initiatives include transitioning to an electric vehicle fleet, expanding the use of solar energy across park facilities, and improving land management practices to boost carbon sequestration.

The ’s green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) project was developed through the Fresh Coast Protection Partnership (FCPP), a community-based partnership between and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District - MMSD. The connected system of basins and a constructed wetland capture up to 1.2 million gallons of stormwater during large rain events—allowing the organization to provide community impact as the GSI project will improve water quality and reduce the risk of flooding.

Beyond its environmental impact, this project is part of a larger multi-year effort to transform Wellpoint Care’s historic 18-acre campus into a vibrant neighborhood anchor where families, neighbors, and community partners will find trauma-informed social services, mental health resources, and a place to connect, collaborate, and care for themselves and one another.
