Paul faced a lot of things where he could’ve given up on God but he didn’t! We too can remember that even when bad things happen to us, we don’t have to give up on God because He cares for us 🙌

Today we discussed Saul, now called Paul. After many years of traveling and starting new churches, Paul has been arrested, and he’s sent to Rome for trial. Along the way, Paul faces a two-week storm at sea, shipwreck, AND a snakebite 😅 But through it all, he continues to trust and listen to God!

This week, we followed the model religious leader Saul as he traveled to Damascus to arrest Jesus' followers. On the road, he had a dramatic meeting with Jesus that leaves him blind. When God sent Ananias to help restore Saul’s sight, Saul began to see everything in a brand-new light. Instead of arresting Jesus' followers, Saul preached Jesus so persuasively that even a plot to kill Saul can’t stop him 😱

Here’s our bottom line this week! We saw in our Bible story this week that the Ethiopian man that Philip ran into was on his way to find someone who could help him with his questions. He kept following God even when he had questions so we can do the same! 🎉🎉

Today we discovered that the believers have been scattered due to persecution. Philip started a thriving ministry in Samaria, but an angel of God sent him to a wilderness road. There, Philip meets an Ethiopian official who was struggling to understand scripture as he traveled home. He’s got big questions, but God has perfectly placed Philip to provides some answers 🙌

Peter and John did what Jesus has called them to do because they knew what He had already done for them. Remind your kids that they can keep going!!

What a great start to the beginning of this month! We followed Peter and John to the Temple in Acts 3-4, where they meet a man who can’t walk. When Peter heals the man through the power of the Holy Spirit, the religious leaders have Peter and John arrested 😱 But when they question the men, Peter and John show that even though they’re ordinary men, they have authority from Jesus. When the leaders warn them to quit preaching, Peter and John refuse to stay silent!
