Knowledge Is Power🗣️

The Passport to the Vote Candidate Forum is a nonpartisan civic engagement initiative presented by the Prince George’s County, Maryland Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., in partnership with the Mitchellville-Bowie Section of the National Council of Negro Women, the Prince George’s County Branch of the NAACP, and First Baptist Church of Highland Park.

As we continue to engage our community in critical conversations with candidates in preparation for Election Day, let’s represent well this Thursday, October 8th, for the forum🗳️.

Birthdays & Ballots is being hosted jointly by the NCNW Mitchellville-Bowie Section, the NCNW Prince George’s County Section, the League of Women Voters of Prince George’s County, the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Fort Washington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This event is part of NCNW’s national POWER UP civic engagement strategy, which is building nonpartisan infrastructure across the country to help young adults register to vote, understand the voting process, and step confidently into civic life. Our goal is simple: to make sure every young person in Maryland who turned 18 between June and September 2026 has the chance to register to vote, or confirm their registration status, before the next election.
