Our sisters of the Mitchellville-Bowie Section of NCNW attended the first in-person Maryland State Coalition of NCNW, inc Annual Meeting!

This meeting served as a vital opportunity for sections across Maryland to reflect on our collective achievements, handle key coalition business, and strategically align for the year ahead.

We are proud to stand alongside our sisters across the state as we continue moving the mission of NCNW forward. Here’s to another year of community impact, leadership, and unity!💜

On this Juneteenth, the Mitchellville-Bowie Section of NCNW pauses to honor the resilience, unyielding faith, and strength of those who came before us. June 19th, 1865, marked a pivotal moment in history but the journey to true liberation and equality continues.

Today, we look back with deep gratitude because our ancestors survived and fought through the unimaginable so we could uplift our community, protect our legacy, and push forward together❤️🤍💙.

We don’t just carry their names; we carry their torch!

Who says Christmas only comes once a year?🪴🪏

This past Saturday, April 26th, our sisters rolled up their sleeves for Christmas In April. We spent the day gardening, painting a closed-in porch, and beautifying a local homeowner’s front yard!

There is nothing quite like the power of Black women coming together to lift up our community. From the first brushstroke to the last flower planted, it was a day filled with love and sisterly bonding.🌷
