First full weekend for public run (some exceptions) & party rentals available. Party rental is $175 for one hour. Donations: We're always looking for volunteers.

We do not charge for public run, but we accept donations to keep the trains running. Largo Central Railroad has been providing rides in Largo Central Park since 1991... before LCP was officially a park! We operate the first full weekend of the month. The check in line closes 15 minutes before we end. First Saturday of the month: 10 AM - 4 PM (close at 3 PM in December)

While we do not charge for rides, we do take donations. You may provide a cash donation in one of our boxes, or you can donate using your credit card when you check in online for your ride. We are a non-profit organization, it's because of your generous donations that we are able to continue operations. Membership can be done for an individual, or families. We do allow Junior Members (under 18), but they must be part of a family membership. Volunteers help maintain all equipment, including engines and riding cars (perform inspections, do oil changes, change out trucks, and more), assist in building new track panels, replace and maintain track and ties, including switches, frogs, and any other items that are needed to help ensure our tracks are safe and maintained. 🚂🌳 Largo Central Railroad Remains Open During Park Improvements! 🌳🚂

Exciting things are happening at Largo Central Park! Construction will begin August 11th on the brand-new playground renovations and the new calisthenics fitness course, helping make our beautiful park even better for visitors of all ages.

We’re happy to announce that the Largo Central Railroad will continue operating on our normal schedule throughout construction! 🚂

While a portion of Parking Lot 3 will be impacted by construction activities, the remainder of Largo Central Park, including the railroad, walking paths, picnic areas, and the park’s other parking lots, will remain open and accessible.

We appreciate your patience as these exciting improvements take shape and encourage everyone to continue visiting and enjoying all that Largo Central Park has to offer.
