🚂 THIS WEEKEND, THE MEMBERS GET TO PLAY! 🚂

At the Largo Central Railroad, whenever there’s a fifth weekend, things work a little differently! The tools get put down, the railroad closes to the public, and our members get a weekend dedicated to simply enjoying the hobby and having FUN! 🎉

Sometimes that means spending the weekend at the railroad, and other times it means heading off campus for a special club activity.

🚦 This fifth weekend: CARD ORDER OPERATIONS!

Our members get to operate the Largo Central Railroad just like the real deal—working industries, moving freight, following orders, building trains, switching cars, and getting everything where it needs to go. 🚂📋

It’s another side of the hobby that combines railroading, teamwork, problem-solving, and plenty of fun!

And weekends like this are just one of the perks of being an LCRR member.

The refresh continues at the Largo Central Railroad!

As we continue sprucing up the railroad and preparing for our 35th Anniversary Golden Spike Ceremony, even some of our familiar fixtures are getting a fresh new look!

Our Rules Sign just received some much-needed TLC, giving it a cleaner, refreshed appearance while helping keep everyone safe and ready to ride. ✨🚂

We’re excited to keep making improvements around the railroad as we celebrate 35 years of LCRR — 1991–2026! 💙💛

Junior Member Ben put together this fun reel featuring some of our Largo Central Railroad club members giving us their BEST train sounds! 🚂💨

From whistles and horns to chugging steam engines… our members definitely gave it their all! 😂

A little railroad adventure in a smaller scale! 🚂✨ One of our Largo Central Railroad members invited us to check out their incredible HO scale layout, and it was a fantastic experience seeing another railroad come to life.

This layout wasn’t just a display—it operated like a real railroad! 🚦🚂 We had members bring there personal locomotives, with trains moving cars around the layout and completing their own operations. The layout’s design and operations were inspired by the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, giving it a unique sense of history and purpose.

From switching cars and moving freight to watching different types of locomotives work the railroad, it was a great reminder that no matter the scale, the heart of railroading is the same. 🚂❤️

When you add your email, you’ll receive your Annual Guest Pass, which makes future visits quick and easy:

The Grand Concourse Railroad is back with a **brand-new nightmare** this Halloween season — and **we want YOU!**

Join us for a **FREE, hands-on Scare Actor Workshop & Casting Call** September 4–6. Whether you’re an experienced scare actor or have never scared a soul, come learn what it takes to bring nightmares to life!

🧟 **Learn:**
• Character development
• Safety and scare techniques
• Pop scares
• Psychological terror
• Haunted attraction performance skills

The workshop will also serve as a **casting call for scare actors and event staff** for our upcoming Halloween event.
