The Laredo Fire Department and the Laredo Firefighter’s Association Local 872 are proud to announce Laredo’s 3rd Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb!

On September 11th, we will come together as a community to honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

This isn't just a stair climb. It's a day of remembrance, unity, and gratitude for the heroes who gave everything in service to others.

This Event is Open to the Public

🏆⚽ CHAMPIONS⚽🏆

A huge congratulations to our Laredo Fire Department firefighters for winning the Texas Firefighter Summer Games Soccer Tournament in Round Rock!

Whether they’re serving our community or competing on the soccer field, this team always gives it their all. Their hard work, teamwork and determination paid off, and we’re proud to see them bring the championship back to Laredo.

Congratulations, gentlemen! Thank you for representing our department and our city with pride.

The past 3 weekends, we had the privilege of standing on street corners and collecting donations during our Fill the Boot fundraiser. What we witnessed was something truly special.

Time and time again, the people of Laredo showed up with generous hearts. Whether it was a handful of change, a few dollars, or simply words of encouragement, every contribution reminded us why we are proud to call this community home.

As firefighters, we’re honored to serve this city every day. But moments like these remind us that the strength of Laredo isn’t found in any one person—it’s found in all of us coming together for a common cause.

When a community stands united, there is nothing we can’t accomplish. Your generosity will help make a difference in the lives of families facing challenges, and your support demonstrates the compassion that defines our city.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us continue this proud tradition and thank you for showing, once again, that when Laredo stands together, we are stronger.

🚒💛 Laredo, this is our FINAL Fill the Boot collection day! 💛🚒

Today, your local firefighters with the Laredo Fire Department and Local Union 872 are out across the city for the third and final Fill the Boot collection benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association!

Over the past few weeks, our community has continued to show incredible generosity, and today is our last chance to make an even bigger impact for families affected by muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular diseases.
