Today, some of our Laredo firefighters were happy to lend a hand at Dr. Tyler King’s community event, helping serve and hand out some great food to everyone who stopped by!

A special shoutout to Dr. King’s dad, who came all the way down from Tennessee and prepared Memphis-style BBQ sandwiches for the community. 🍖🔥

It was a great afternoon of good food, good conversations, and members of our community coming together. We’re always proud to see our firefighters volunteering their time and getting involved in the community we serve. 🚒🤝

🎀 Together, We’re Making a Difference! 🎀

The Laredo Firefighters Association Local 872 would like to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased one of our Breast Cancer Awareness shirts! 💗

Today, we were proud to deliver the proceeds from our shirt fundraiser to Doctors Hospital Cancer Center. With your support, we were able to provide H-E-B gift cards that will go directly to patients to help with everyday needs such as gas, groceries, food, and other essentials while they undergo treatment.

A special thank you to our firefighters, their families, friends, and members of our community who purchased a shirt and supported this fundraiser. Every shirt sold helped make this donation possible.

While October and our pink shirts bring special attention to breast cancer awareness, the assistance from this fundraiser will help ALL cancer patients receiving care at the Cancer Center, regardless of the type of cancer they are battling.

This is what community is all about—coming together to make things a little easier for those going through a difficult time.

Thank you, Laredo, for your support! 💗🎗️
No One Fights Alone.
