For over 35 years, we have been here for our community. At every step of the way we are reminded why we help out of our fellow neighbors across our 8 service counties.

We're still counting on volunteers like you to help us sort and bag product to our neighbors this coming week!

Our most present need is assistance in packing bags so we can begin moving thousands of pounds of donated food and product to our different sites. YOU have the power to be part of the solution!

Through local food procurement, gardening activities and agriculture education, Farm to CACFP leverages CACFP funding to help incorporate local foods into the nutritious CACFP meal pattern thus strengthening community food systems and supporting positive health outcomes for those in care.

The South Texas Food Bank is a proud CACFP partner since 2019.

A major thank you to our incredible volunteers from TAMIU's Nursing Program! 🥼🩺🤍

Thanks to their efforts many they were able to pack over 3,000 bags to be given to our community's seniors, who won't have to make an impossible decisions like choosing between medication or food on their table. 📦

Our work is made possible our community's hard-working volunteers who make up the backbone of our operation. Without people stepping up to lend a hand each day, we simply couldn't do what we do.🥹🤍

Thank you again to TAMIU Nursing Program for giving their time to help fight hunger in our community: we appreciate you!
