Hello my name is Giselle “Zšafrehleía” Sanchez. I am #189 Anchor of my ship Elexamoria. I am majoring in psychology with a minor is criminal justice. I want to be a forensic psychologist. my favorite color is baby pink and my favorite animal is a shark.
I joined SLG because they gave me a home away from home. I instantly became close with everyone that I knew in my heart I wanted to be a gamma. They gave me my sister that i have and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. I can’t wait to continue this journey and create so many memories with everyone in my SLG family and the greek community as well.

Hiiii everyone! My name is Vianney Garza and I am proud to say that I’m #188 Chain of Ship Elexamoria. I am a sophomore majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. I love spending time with the people I care about most, making memories, and staying involved in things that help me grow both personally and academically.

What first drew me to SLG was how genuine and welcoming everyone felt from the very beginning. The connections I made were immediate, and I could truly tell that the girls cared about building real friendships and supporting one another. Being around such strong, kind, and authentic women made me feel comfortable being myself, and it showed me that this sisterhood is built on love, encouragement, and individuality. I admired how every sister brought something unique to the sorority while still creating such a strong sense of unity and family.

Joining this sorority has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. It has given me so many amazing sisters, unforgettable memories, and a support system I know I can always count on. I feel incredibly grateful to have found a family that constantly motivates me to become the best version of myself while reminding me that I never have to go through anything alone. I want to say thank you to my education team as well Nana, Isa, and Emily for making this journey something I’ll never forget. The love and encouragement I’ve received already means more to me than words can describe.

I also want to give a special thank you to my mama Salma for always supporting, guiding, and believing in me throughout this journey. Your kindness and encouragement have made such a huge impact on me, and I am so thankful to have you by my side and to my odphi papa Derek too. I appreciate everything you both do for me more than you know.

I can’t wait to continue growing within this sisterhood, making more memories, and experiencing everything this journey has to offer. I’m so excited for all the amazing moments ahead and for the lifelong bonds I know I’ll continue to build

Hii! My name is Star Aimee Arianna Luna. I am #187 Chain of Ship Elexamoria. I am a first generation student majoring in Kinesiology.

I joined Sigma Lambda Gamma because I wanted to be more involved on campus and finally build the close girl friendships I’d always been missing. From the start, the sisters made me feel genuinely welcomed like I could show up as myself and still belong. SLG felt like a home away from home, and I connected deeply with its principles of academics, community service, and social interaction. I knew this was a place where I could grow, find real sisterhood, and step into leadership in a meaningful way.

Joining this sorority has already been the best thing I could’ve done. I am grateful to have had such an amazing education team, Emily, Isa, and Nana. And i’m most grateful for my perfect and amazing g-mom who has been so supportive and loving.

Hi Hi! My name is Jessica Nicole Soto and I am so proud to say I’m #186 Heart of Ship Elexamoria. I’m a junior majoring in English with a certification to teach grades 7th–12th. Something about me is that I love challenging myself, meeting new people, and always putting myself out there. I enjoy socializing, making meaningful connections, and staying involved in the things I’m passionate about.

What captivated me most about Sigma Lambda Gamma was how kindhearted and genuine the girls were from the very beginning. They made me feel welcomed and like I truly belonged. Being surrounded by such empowering women has helped me grow into a stronger and more confident version of myself. Another thing that drew me to this sorority was its principles, especially community service, because giving back and helping others is something I truly enjoy doing in my free time.

I am so grateful for this experience and for everyone who has been part of my journey. I want to thank Nana, Isa, and Emily for helping and guiding me throughout this process I truly couldn’t have asked for a better education team. To my beautiful line sisters, you are the best thing that came out of this experience. The memories, laughs, and love we’ve shared will always stay close to my heart. I’d also like to thank my beautiful g-mom Isa for always encouraging me, supporting me, and helping me through hard times. MEET OUR QUAD OF SHIP ELEXAMORIA, #185, AIME “REIAESMEE’ADIRA” SALAZAR🩷💜

Hiii everyone! My name is Aime “Reiaesmee’adira” Salazar and I am so proud to say that I am #185 of Ship Elexamoria 💗 I am currently an international nursing student at TAMIU, and most of my time is spent balancing classes, clinicals, studying, and making memories with the people I care about most.

I joined Sigma Lambda Gamma because from the very beginning, the girls made me feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated for who I was. I admired how every woman brought something unique while still uplifting and supporting one another. The more I got to know SLG and its values, the more I realized this was a sisterhood where I could grow into the best version of myself while still staying true to who I am.

Being quad of my ship has made this experience even more meaningful, and I’m so grateful for all the memories and lessons this journey has already given me. I especially want to thank my gamma mom, Fran, for always supporting and encouraging me throughout the process. I also want to give a huge thank you to our education team for all the patience, guidance, and love they gave us every step of the way.

MEET OUR TRE OF SHIP ELEXAMORIA, #184,SARAI “DÍATHENA’AMINARI” HINOJOSA 🩷💜

Hiiii, my name is Sarai Diandra “Díathena’áminari” Hinojosa; I am #184 and the proud Tre of Ship Elexamoria. I’m also a first-gen student majoring in Business Administration, and I love spending my time with the people I care about.

The women of Sigma Lambda Gamma drew me in largely because of their shared principles and how they carried themselves. I first noticed and appreciated how the sorority’s philanthropy and ethics was close to my own morals. I could also feel that the connection between the sisters in SLG was so authentic, and it manifested more as I got to spend time with them. Each of the girls are unique, but they all come together to highlight and demonstrate the values of SLG. Between their ideals and community built within each other and others, I’m excited to join and contribute to the positive energy the Gammas display and spread on campus!!

Although it’s just started, I’ve had the best experience becoming a Gamma, and I can’t wait to spend more time with the others! I’m especially grateful to have seen through the start of my journey with the guidance from my amazing education team: Emily, Isa, and Nana. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to learn from and welcome me into the sorority, and I’m so grateful to you three for all the lessons taught and moments shared with me. Hi everyone! My name is Alexa Moreno and I am so proud to say that I am #183 Deuce of ships Elexamoria. I am currently a first generation student and a sophomore majoring in English with a 7-12 certification.

I joined Sigma Lambda Gamma because since my very first step in TAMIU, every single of the girls made me feel welcome. I enjoyed all of their recruitment events and I got so close to each of the gammas, even when I wasn’t one yet. I love how loud and crazy they are, how they all always look out for each other and help create the best version of themselves . I knew that becoming a gamma won’t only give me unconditional love but also shape me into the incredible women I know I can be.

Even though I still have so much more yet to come, I have enjoyed every single second that I have spend as a gamma. Meeting my line sisters has been such a blessing and gave me my twin sister Vale. I also want to shout out my gmom Sophia, my beta dad Bryan, and my brother Mauri! Thank you all for being part of my journey, I wouldn’t have it any other way! Hiii everyonee!! My name is Valeria “Éksipnathena” Villarreal, I am #182 Captain of Ship Elexamoria! I am a senior majoring in English with a Secondary Certification (7th-12).

What compelled me to join Sigma Lamda Gamma was it’s friendly and welcoming members! I felt that by joining, I would be able to make new friends and make a home-away from home. In addition, their principles spoke to me in a way that resonated within my own beliefs.

Ever since joining SLG, I have gained not only friends who I can call my sisters, but friendships that will last a lifetime. I am so grateful for my own gamma mom, who has been with me throughout the entire journey, before and after joining SLG.
