Our Story

This is the official page for Texas A&M International University's Philosophy Society. A student organization based on the pursuit of philosophical thought in all of its many forms. Our mission is to help fellow students of the TAMIU community with research and conference preparation and to share that research with the public. In the Fall semesters we will host a number of meetings for the purposes of discussions based on selected texts. The Spring semesters will focus on presentations (conference style) of student research based on the prior semester's selected texts. Also, there will be debates and dialogues open to the public for anyone who wishes to discuss a given topic on related issues. Meeting times, dates, and locations will posted here, along with additional information on other ongoing items. Disclaimer: None of the views expressed on this page reflect in any way, shape, or form those of Texas A&M International University, its staff, faculty, or administration. This is merely a forum for an open discussion of diverse student view points.
