Today the Lessons on "Keys to Embracing Aging" started with Ms.Stephanie Rocha teaching our elderly to grow old gracefully with increased longevity based primarily on findings from centenarian studies and from the opinions of others who participated. Our elderly participants really enjoyed doing these exercises with Mrs. Enriquez and Ms. Ramos from Area Agency on Aging program on the topic of "Active Living Everday"! The motivation, the determination and effort were shown. Our Commissioner Ricky Jaime and our staff of Lilia Perez Community Center really appreciate and would like to thank the South Texas Development Area Agency on Aging program staff members Mrs Imelda Enriquez and Ms Belinda Maldonado. They both came to give classes on the topic of "Active Living Everday" for our elderly participants. Today was their last class on this topic and they presented each participant a certificate of completion and a bag full of goodies including a watch to count their walking steps.
