Late post from Merit badge weekend:

Survival Mode: Accomplished! 🌲⛺

Let’s give a massive shoutout to one of our Scouts, Ramiro, for showing incredible grit, determination, and true Scout spirit!

Ramiro officially completed the final, grueling requirements to earn his Wilderness Survival Merit Badge.
One of the toughest hurdles of this badge requires the Scout to spend a full night camping inside a makeshift shelter Ram and Instructors built themselves from scratch. No modern tents, no cozy setups—just a tarp, some poles, and cord.

Being Ram fairly new to Scouting, we know it was a rough, tough, and challenging night out there in the elements. But Ramiro didn't back down. He put his training to the test, stayed the course, and successfully completed the entire requirement!

Ramiro, your Troop 84 family is incredibly proud of your resilience and bravery. You proved that with the right mindset and Scouting principles, you can survive and thrive through any challenge!

Our Father’s Day mission continued with a special stop to visit the Cigarroa Coaching and Athletic Staff! 🏈⚾️

Troop 84 dropped by to wish these incredible mentors and leaders a very Happy Father’s Day, presenting them with our custom Troop 84 "Dad's Favorite" snack bags to thank them for everything they do for our community's youth.

Our Scouts were visiting various spots all around town, looking for local Dads to surprise with a handshake, a treat, and a huge thank you for everything they do.

⚜️ Troop 84 in the Community: Celebrating Our Heroes! ⚜️

During our weekly meeting, the Scouts of Troop 84 were hard at work assembling custom snack bags filled with all of "Dad’s favorite snacks."

Starting TODAY, we took to the streets to hit our next mission: honoring the incredible parents and father figures in our community for Father’s Day!

🚒 First Stop: Our Local Firefighters
We kicked off our deliveries today by visiting our local fire station. The Scouts wanted to ensure these brave men received a well-deserved treat, a huge Happy Father’s Day, and a heartfelt thank you for their dedicated service to our community.

We are just getting started! Our Scouts will be out and about again continuing our deliveries and spreading Father's Day cheer.

Troop 84 has a rich history that we are incredibly proud of, and we’re grateful for every leader who helped build that foundation. Today, we are absolutely thrilled to be a thriving family troop. Seeing brothers, sisters, and parents all learning, camping, and growing together has brought a whole new energy to our program. Scouting is for the whole family now, and our future has never been BRIGHTER!!

From mastering new outdoor skills to working together as a team, our scouts were absolutely crushing it on the campground today. Whether they were building campcraft projects, navigating the trails, or keeping the campsite in top shape, the dedication and scout spirit were on full display.

TROOP 84. There is nothing quite like the feeling of settling into camp after a long day of adventure. Tonight, our colors fly high, beautifully illuminated against the night sky, standing as a symbol of our teamwork, tradition, and scout spirit.

Another Great Super SAT with Troop 84!

We had a busy and productive meeting today as we kept pushing forward on the Scouting trail! Here is a quick recap of what our Scouts accomplished:

• Advancement Progress: Scouts rolled up their sleeves and checked off several rank advancement requirements, sharpening their outdoor and leadership skills.

• We spent time planning our upcoming Campout at CB State park and Merit Badge Weekend at Camp Huisache. The excitement is building, and the boys and girls are getting their gear ready!

• Happy Birthday, Louis! We wrapped up our meeting by coming together to celebrate Louis's birthday. Happy Birthday, Louis—we are glad to have you in the troop!

Every meeting brings us closer together and keeps us prepared for the next big adventure. Great job today, T84 Scouts!
