🎨 Art meets community action in Laredo!🌿

We recently gathered at Casa Lopez to celebrate the launch of CompARTE Colectivo, a initiative pairing 6 local artists with 11 inner-city neighborhoods along Zacate Creek and the Rio Grande.

Through murals, photography, music, and sculpture, these artists—Luis Coss, Monse Guajardo, Ricardo Nuño, Melly Rodriguez, Ines Santiago, and Esteban Torres—will weave resident stories into powerful art that highlights our local culture and environment.

All works will lead up to our inaugural 3-day exhibition on Nov. 5–7, 2026!

📍 Calling all residents of our 11 focus neighborhoods!
CompARTE Laredo is looking for residents in the 11 neighborhoods to participate in free arts, culture, and storytelling workshops and guided hikes along the river and Zacate Creek!
