Welcome to Swim Across America's Long Island Sound Events: The Long Island Sound open water swim, and Long Island Sound Pool Swims. This year will be our 25th year raising funds to fight cancer. Long Island Sound events are the most successful in SAA history! Thanks to hundreds of swimmers and volunteers and thousands of donors this event has grown to reach unimaginable success.

It's and we're highlighting Team Swim Like A Bird!
"Our team is made up of competitive swimmers, and youth volunteers from all over Westchester, who are excited to take a break from chlorine on July 25th and make some waves to fight cancer in the Sound! This is Team Swim Like A Bird’s third year and we are ready to help make the biggest impact we can. The Team Swim Like A Bird mission is to support and honor our friends, family and everyone who fought and is still fighting cancer. This year we are swimming to support those fighting cancer; Aunt Lynn. In memory of our loved ones Gisuppi Ciraco, Terry Dugan, Lenny, Patty R, and Olinda H. And to celebrate the strong cancer survivors everywhere, including Grandma, John Ealy, Nina Horan, and Grandma Laura."
