STEM Alliance A nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing k-12 Science, Technology, Engineering & Math enrichme

is a grass-roots nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing STEM education and enrichment. The STEM Alliance is a dynamic group of educators, parents, community members, alumni and business leaders working to advance STEM K-12 education and enrichment initiatives to benefit students and educators in Westchester County, NY. The Alliance's mission is to foster and help facilitate:


1) Increased appreciation of STEM education and enrichment K-12;
2) Enhanced STEM education and enrichment opportunities;
3) Creation of a network of parents, community members and organizations and businesses involved in the STEM fields;
4) Creation of opportunities for educators and students to collaborate and partner with STEM leaders in the business, industry and higher education sectors;
5) Meaningful exposure of students to STEM career paths and connection of students to insightful real world mentor relationships, internships etc.;
6) Participation by students in selective endeavors involving research, innovative problem-solving & STEM related expos and competitions;
7) Enhanced support of the professional endeavors of educators and others interested in STEM education and enrichment; and
8) Obtaining of grants and other funding to support the Alliance's mission and STEM activities.

Congratulations to our FLL Roaring Robots Team Black!

This Sunday, the team achieved its furthest advancement ever, competing at the Blackbot Invitational in Brooklyn, an international competition that brought together top teams from around the world. They received the Innovation Project Award and the Robot Performance Award, recognizing their creativity, problem-solving, and outstanding robot design and programming.

Join us for Family Tides this Sunday at the Marine Education Center in Mamaroneck!

Drop in anytime between 10 AM–1 PM for hands-on marine science, live animals, touch tank exploration, creative marine art, and STEM activities.

This is a drop-in program, not a drop-off event—parents and caregivers must remain with children at all times.

Step aboard to explore the Long Island Sound through hands-on STEM activities focused on marine life, water science, animal adaptations, and nautical engineering. Participants will help raise the sails, investigate organisms, and experience science in a real-world setting.

All Aboard for STEM Sails! Join The STEM Alliance and SoundWaters for an exciting hands-on sailing adventure in Mamaroneck Harbor!

Families are invited aboard for an interactive STEM experience exploring the ecosystems of the Long Island Sound, animal adaptations, properties of water, nautical engineering, environmental stewardship, and human impact. Participants will examine macro and microscopic organisms, help raise the sails, and discover biology concepts in action while out on the water.

We had a FAN-tastic time at STEM-tastic! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the event such an incredible success. We are especially grateful to our amazing volunteers and activity leaders who brought hands-on STEM learning to life—from engineering challenges and chemistry experiments to drone soccer, every attendee had a blast!

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful hosts, School of the Holy Child, for being such gracious partners in making this event possible.
