Cuddles from Cassidy Pediatric Cancer Foundation Our Story -

In early 2019, our lives changed drastically. Cassidy’s diagnosis was the most terrifying thing that we have ever experienced in our lives.

Cuddles from Cassidy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide comfort and joy to children battling life-threatening illnesses by providing cuddles (care packages with stuffed animals, toys, and tokens of love). Cassidy, our then 3 year old daughter was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer. Cassidy's stuffed animals were a source of comfort to her w

hile undergoing chemotherapy. Occasionally during treatment, Cassidy handed out stuffed animals and toys to children on her oncology floor. She wanted to make sure that other children were comforted as well. Cassidy is THRIVING! She is a happy, joyful, vibrant little girl who is the life of the party wherever she goes. Our lives changed forever with Cassidy's diagnosis. We are truly blessed and grateful for the phenomenal support that family, friends, and various non-profit organizations provided to us during the most difficult time of our lives. Janine has made it her mission to "pay it forward" by being a source of love, strength, and support to other families experiencing the harsh reality of pediatric life-threatening illnesses. Cuddles from Cassidy Pediatric Cancer Foundation is our way of bringing joy to these brave children.
