Home on the Range is the only animal sanctuary in Laramie, WY. The non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization provides a haven for chickens, turkeys, goats, donkeys, horses and sheep. It is located several miles south of Laramie on the beautiful grass plains between two mountain ranges. The picturesque setting is home for 23 animals in need of a place that can care for their needs. They will always be w

Wyotech-Laramie students came out Sunday and did some major Spring projects, like: clean up the Christmas trees the donkeys had eaten down to the trunks; clean up lots of dried weeds and things that had blown in and around during the Winter; put a tarp over the hay because the hay roof blew up up and away; cleaned up around and inside the hay pen; installed a new nylon cable on the winch Bambi uses to help him get up to walk around; put up a little green house to grown treats for people and critters. Man! That's A Lot!!!! Thank you So Much! It was a delight to get to meet you and get to know you a bit.
