Friends of Community Recreation The mission of the Friends of Community Recreation (FCR) is to support recreation in the Laramie community and throughout Albany County.

Our meetings are open to the public. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Laramie Community Recreation Center at Noon.

Congrats to our subcommitee Friends of the Laramie Skatepark on winning a $10,000 grant from the Tony Hawk Foundation!

So excited to see this project built by 2022!

Thank so much everyone that got us here! Thanks for all the support way beyond this grant, through inspiring all of us to take our ideas to the people in power. There’s still a long way to go and we’ve got a 1:1 matching grant for individual donations going (link in profile) get the scoop and contribute. Big things by 2022
look for an rfq next year.
