🙌Soroptimist International of Laramie is proud to support young women that choose to further themselves with a career in the Trades. This year we awarded two very deserving recipients with $1,000 grants to be used towards their Trades programs. Congratulations to these to LHS Seniors, Chayne Webb who is working towards becoming a CNA and to Leyna Bressler who is in a Cosmetology licensure program. We are excited for the future you are creating for yourselves and cannot wait to see you succeed!

💫Economic empowerment of young women is a core part of Soroptomist International's mission, and we’re incredibly grateful for a supportive community that rallies behind us to make our annual fundraising events a success. It is only because of this amazing community that we are able to support these amazing, hard-working young ladies and others in Laramie and the surrounding areas.

🎓Also, congratulations to all of the graduates! The ladies of Soroptimist of Laramie wish you much success as you follow your dreams and become who you want to be!

We'd like to extend to a THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the 5th Annual Dream It, Be It - Careers in Trades Fair at Laramie High School a huge success!

We want to give a big shout out to Wyoming Construction Coalition /WYCC for being such a great partner in this event, we could not have done it without you! We had 37 business/industry Trade reps who connected with students and over 170 students participated!

We truly appreciate all who contributed to this event from supporting it at Laramie High School to sponsoring the event and helping us provide meals, refreshments, and VISA gift cards.

We’d like to give a shoutout to Ridley’s Family Markets and a huge THANK YOU to Dan Kelly for generously donating THREE “shippers” of Fritos chips for our students and vendors!

We had some fun figuring out what a “shipper” actually is — turns out it’s a point-of-sale display… and each one held 70 bags! That’s 210 bags of chips total! 🙌

Soroptimist & Wyoming Construction Coalition truly appreciates partnerships like Ridley’s that “chip in” to make a difference.

🎄🎁 We are so grateful to have the opportunity to bless a local family this Christmas with gifts under the tree! Being able to get together with some of our Soroptimist sisters for a full day of shopping, wrapping, and connecting was truly a gift. There’s not a better way to spend a day than serving others with your friends, we had so much fun!

🙌🏻We are grateful for a generous Community that supports our mission so we can do our small part to care for those in need. If everyone does a little, the impact we can make could be so great!

This year Soroptimist International of Laramie was able to give the one of the only female Trades focused Scholarship to a High School Senior at LHS! Congratulations to Addison Fowler for receiving this scholarship! She will use this as she furthers her trade knowledge in the Medical Field🧑🏼‍⚕️ It is truly an honor to support young women as they follow their dreams and work to achieve economic empowerment!
