Today, March 31 is the Transgender Day of Visibility. This year's theme is Trans Safe Space. Each year on March 31, the world observes Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) to raise awareness about transgender people. It is a day to celebrate the lives and contributions of trans people, while also drawing attention to the disproportionate levels of poverty, discrimination, and violence the community faces compared to cisgender (non-transgender) people. While backlash to Trans rights is a reality that trans people and allies are experiencing, acceptance can rise with personal familiarity and exposure to trans stories. At PFLAG Laramie, we give love and support to our Trans family members and friends.

Their travelling RV will be in Laramie on Friday March 20, 2026, from 9 am – 5 pm at the Laramie Plains Civic Center – they are coordinating with the Laramie PrideFest office there and are currently planning to offer services in the Laramie PrideFest office in suite 343.
