Feeding Laramie Valley.
We are doing final setup right now and the item quality is incredible. If you love vintage items, heritage quality, and great bargains, you cannot miss this stop.

FEATURED HIGHLIGHTS: Mid-Century Modern (MCM) heavy solid wood 2-drawer end table with inlaid handles (stunning condition!). Large, gorgeous heavyweight vintage statement lamp (perfect MCM style!). Authentic solid-wood stained Cracker Barrel porch rocking chair (gorgeous finish). Vintage 1980s "Native America by Alps" twin-size cotton sampler blanket (Made in USA, mint condition). Vintage classic books (including a beautiful 1989 Wind in the Willows).

Lots of fun going on in Laramie, this weekend - it's homecoming weekend! Forecast is for sunshine, and all combined, Saturday is a great day to stop by Feeding Laramie Valley at 968 N. 9th Street for our community yard sale and market (see the attached flyer). And we're still accepting donations of useful and beautiful items in good condition, as well as baked goods for our bake sale! Proceeds will benefit Feeding Laramie Valley. Donated items will be accepted today, 10:30 - 6:00. See you soon and looking forward to visiting tomorrow!

The power of visibility and voice never gets old. Today's WyoFile story feels like a fresh call to action as we prepare for another day of sharing Wyoming produce with FLV Shares participants.

Feeding Laramie Valley lost grants, shed positions and discontinued programs in the last two years. As the program focuses on survival, Wyoming food insecurity grows.

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Fall Season & Winter-Prep Yard Sale, Flea Market, and Community Get-Together on Saturday, September 26!

With bake sale, pie baking contest, and a lovely time in the park.

As we head into the colder months, every dollar raised directly supports our mission to sustain food sovereignty and share fresh, healthy food across the Laramie Valley and throughout Wyoming.

We are officially looking for Vendors and High-Quality Donations to bring our community together!

🎪 RENT A BOOTH (Makers, Flea Market, & Nonprofits)
Want to sell your fall crafts, market your local nonprofit, or find new homes for your quality items?
Who: Artisans, collectors, cottage food producers, local organizations, and community members who don't want the work of creating their own yard sale.

Cost:
Standard Outdoor Space ($15): Includes a 10' x 10' spot on the park grounds. You will bring your own canopy, tables, and chairs.
Standard Indoor Space ($25): Includes a weather-protected spot inside our historic building, plus one provided table (sizes vary) and chairs. (Very limited availability; assigned first-come, first-served)
Nonprofit / Community Group - OUTDOOR (FREE): For local nonprofits, community groups, or youth organizations. You will bring your own canopy, tables, and chairs.
Nonprofit / Community Group - INDOOR ($10): Includes a weather-protected spot inside our historic building, plus one provided table (sizes vary) and chairs. (Very limited availability; assigned first-come, first-served)

Please Note: To ensure a high-quality market, we cannot accept broken items, stained clothing, or general clutter.

Drop-off Info: Drop-off for yard sale/flea market donations to Feeding Laramie Valley are at 968 N. 9th Street, Thursday, September 24 & Friday, September 25 | between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Such a special summer. According to the calendar, we still have a month more of it to enjoy. But here in Laramie, the children and teens return to schools and schooling early next week. At Kids Out to Lunch, we'll celebrate what we've shared over the last few months with our annual Kids Out to Lunch grilling fest. While the bees crowd around the mint leaves and pollinate the brave little gardens at the Feeding Laramie Valley building, the rest of us will feast on one final menu together before the season changes.

Enjoy the final free days before school starts at Feeding Laramie Valley's Kids Out to Lunch in LaBonte Park, now through Friday, August 21 - 11:30 - 1:00! Visit and share in our welcoming indoor dining room, relax on the covered front porch or at a picnic table in the park. Our fresh-cooked meals are different every day, and so is the fun. Free to ALL kids and teens through age 18 (adults accompanying kids welcome to eat too - $3 suggested donation). No reservations needed - just show up! Here's the menu for this week of August 10 - 14. Remember, we work hard to provide substitutions for dietary needs - just ask. Feel free to call with questions: 307.223.4399.

🤝 WE NEED YOU! (+ Meet the local heroes keeping our kitchen open!)

Yesterday, we shared the amazing news that Kids Out to Lunch is reopening this Friday, August 7! Today, we want to introduce the incredible local cooks who stepped up at the last minute to make it all possible.
Please give a massive community welcome to Bren and Steven Lieske! 🥳

Bren is a familiar face to many, having cooked for local affairs in Harmony, the Laramie Soup Kitchen, and UW’s Washakie Dining Center. She's been a volunteer and community partner with Feeding Laramie Valley since its inception, and grows most of her own vegetables at home! Her husband, Steven, brings fantastic experience cooking for a ski area and a natural food restaurant called Murfs in Portland, Oregon.
The ultimate dynamic duo: Bren grows the veggies at home, and Steven cooks them up! We are honored to have their talent in our kitchen.

❤️ How You Can Help Bren & Steven:
To support our new cooks and make these next two weeks a success, we need extra hands in the kitchen and dining area from August 7 to August 21!
Can you spare an hour or two? Free meal included! We need volunteers for:
• 🥪 Meal Prep: 10-11:30 a.m.
• 🍽️ Food Serving: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
