Vote YES on May 5th to approve a new grandstand at the fairgrounds.

Since 1989, the citizens of Laramie have demonstrated strong support for the SPET tax, investing in projects that enhance community resources and infrastructure. Continuing this tax ensures ongoing support for essential county services that benefit all residents—both now and in the future.

Please show some love back and vote *YES* on Albany County’s 6th Penny on May 5, 2026!

This vote keeps the current 6th penny tax in place and directs it only to the capital projects listed on the ballot, including a huge upgrade of the Albany County Fairgrounds grandstands!

For Laramie Jubilee Days (and many other events), that means progress toward better/more seating, a stronger/safer venue, and an even better experience for all attendees long-term.

The new arena lighting looks phenomenal! This improvement and others have been brought to the fairgrounds by donation and ongoing fundraising efforts for the Albany County Fair & Jr. Livestock Sale. If you haven’t heard the new sound system at the arena, you’re missing out!
