Ladies,
We will be doing a funeral dinner for Kathy and the family after David's service on Wednesday. I would love to have lots of sides and desserts, as we are looking at probably at least 100 people. Please message me and let me know what you can do, and I would need all food at the post either Tuesday evening or by 11 Wednesday morning.
Thanks so much in advance....Kathy has done so much for all of us, let's show her and her family just how much she means to all of us.

Kathys son David had a liver transplant today at Rush University in Chicago. Please send continued prayers their way as he has a long recovery.

La PORTE — Normal wear-and-tear, weather beaten, and/or tattered, when an American flag is deemed unusable, the American Legion holds, in essence, a funeral for a fallen soldier.

Okay ladies, the tie blanket kits for our veterans are in. We have 24 of them to do! I did leave a couple at the legion already. If somebody's wanting to take a few home to work on them please let me know. I can bring more to the legion or get with you to get them to you. Otherwise we are going to try and schedule a day....Maybe next week.... that we can get together at the post and work on them there. So comment here if you'd like to work on some at home and I will make sure they get in your hands. Thanks so much in advance! ~Lesa
