LaPorte County Draft Horse Association The La Porte County Draft Horse Association is dedicated to the education, preservation, and exhibition of all draft horse breeds.

Our association takes great pride in showcasing the breeds - Belgian, Percheron, Brabant, Shire, Clydesdale, Mule, Haflinger and Spotted Drafts. You'll see our teams parades and many other community events.

July 15-17th the LaPorte County Wagon Masters 4-H Club held their LaPorte County 4-H Draft Horse Project. This event is held at the LaPorte County Fairgrounds; LaPorte, Indiana. This was an educational program, teaching responsibilities of horsemanship and driving safely.

The Belgian Draft Horse Corporation is a proud sponsor of the 2026 Laporte County Draft Horse Program (The WagonMasters 4H Club) Our sponsorship went towards clinic education, awards and judges.

The WagonMasters 4H club is the largest draft horse club in the United States- located in Laporte, IN. They had 54 kids participate this year and we are proud to sponsor a great program that continues to educate and promote the draft horse!
