The Summit: Center for Wellness is grateful to the Steven C., John W., and John C. Lundy Fund for a generous $7,500 grant, awarded through the First Community Foundation Partnership (FCFP), in support of critical infrastructure development at The Summit: Center for Wellness campus.

The grant will be applied toward the electrical installation serving both The Summit’s main facility and The Landing, a single-room, multi-purpose community space designed for public programming, fitness classes, workshops, and meetings. Specifically, the funds will support the purchase of a three-phase transformer for The Landing and essential equipment required for installation.

As the first completed indoor space at The Summit, The Landing will provide space for year-round community programming while fundraising continues for future phases of development. Once operational, The Landing will provide immediate access to health, wellness, educational, and community-building opportunities for Sullivan County residents, as well as the surrounding rural community.

The Summit: Center for Wellness extends sincere thanks to the Lundy family and the First Community Foundation Partnership for their investment in community wellness for Sullivan County and for helping to “turn the lights on” at The Summit.
