Proceeds help the Foundation support park improvements, recreational opportunities, community events, and special projects that enhance quality of life for residents of all ages.

Join us as we steam across beautiful Pine Lake in an authentic early 20th century steamboat. Don’t miss out on the multiple excursions departing from Unity Park throughout the entire LakeFest weekend. Enjoy the beautiful lake scenery and summer air on a historic steamboat with tickets available from 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Thanks to a generous donation from the La Porte Park Foundation, we are able to offer FREE youth rides (available to the first 100 youth to register). To take advantage of this special promotion, please call 219-390-9423 to book your excursion. All children must be accompanied by a fare-paying adult. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, July 23.

FREE concert and fireworks on July 3 in Fox Park! See the "totally rad" details below.

Celebrate 250 years of freedom 🇺🇸 by rocking out to music from the greatest decade! As part of the Independence Celebration Fireworks Show on Friday, July 3, The 1985 will take the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater stage for a FREE high-energy concert featuring pop, rock, new wave and metal hits from the 1980s.

The band will play from 7:30-9 p.m., take a break for fireworks over Clear Lake, and then close the night with a second set from 9:30-10:30. Food trucks and a beer garden will be available near the amphitheater, with parking options throughout Fox Park.
