🪣✨ Still time to jump into the Junk Bucket Challenge! ✨🪣

Good news for our creative builders and imagination engineers: there are still open spots available for this year’s Junk Bucket Challenge!

This year we’re tossing the rulebook out of the toolbox… because there is NO theme! 🙌 That means you get full creative freedom to turn your provided items into whatever your mind can dream up. Wild sculpture? Mini masterpiece? Penny-powered contraption? Go for it.

Here’s how it works:
💡 Create your own unique design using the items you’re given
🪙 Projects will be judged based on how many pennies are collected in each project jar during fair week. Projects will be on display in the Small Projects building.
🏆 The winner will be announced after fair

Bring your creativity, your curiosity, and maybe a little competitive spark 🔥—and see what you can build when “junk” becomes genius.

Spots are still open, so don’t miss your chance to join the fun!

Planning to show livestock at the Fair? Your YQCA Certificate must be turned in to the Extension Office by Thursday, June 12 in order to be eligible to show.

✅ Completed the in-person Quality Livestock Care Training with Kelsey?
Good news — we already have your certificate on file, so no need to send anything!

💻 Still need to complete YQCA? Visit yqcaprogram.org to complete the training online.

📩 If you completed YQCA online, please submit a copy of your certificate by:
• Bringing it to the Extension Office
• OR emailing it to [email protected]

Don’t wait until the last minute — make sure everything is turned in and Fair-ready! 🐮🐷🐑🐐

🌟 Meet Our 4-H Summer Intern, Lyla! 🌟

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Lyla, our 4-H Summer Intern! 🎉

Lyla is a former 9-year 4-H member, and we are excited to have her back helping support our program this summer. Through her years in 4-H, she developed a passion for youth development and agriculture that she is now continuing at Purdue University, where she is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Education 🌽📚

We are excited for all the knowledge, enthusiasm, and 4-H spirit Lyla will bring to our summer programs. If you see her at events, workshops, or around the office, be sure to say hello and welcome her to the team! 💚☘️
