A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped with our Free Clothing Giveaway last weekend. We feel grateful for all the donations that allowed us to host this event and serve the needs of LaPorte County residents. Thank you to our extension members who donated over 250 hours of their personal time to help sort, organize, hang, box, and move all those items. A very grateful thank you to Rita Flores and Della Wittgren for answering our storage and transportation needs. Thanks to LaPorte County Fairgrounds and YAMS for the use of their building and clothing racks. If you missed our Spring giveaway, please don’t fret. Our FREE Fall giveaway is scheduled for September 18th and 19th.

The weatherman says it will be in the 70's and 80's next week. This is the perfect time to sort through those summer boxes of clothes or closets of items that you can't or don't want to wear and donate everything to us. We will happily help you distribute your items to people in need. Donation days and times are listed on the flyer. We also accept small household items that are clean and still in working condition.
