American Legion Auxiliary 383 of LaPlace, La The American Legion Auxiliary is a non-profit organization that began in 1919. We are proud to announce that we now have an Auxiliary in LaPlace.

forum on Secondary Post Traumatic Stress. It will be held at the Activities building behind the Veterans Home on June 25 at 6:30 pm. This program will be for WOMEN only!

The speakers will be:

Alex Juan, the Communications Director for the LA Dept. of Veterans Affairs. She is a veteran who suffers from PTS herself and is very knowledgeable on the subject.

and

Dr. Michelle Carol, a respected psychologist at the St. John VA Clinic. Dr. Carol treats many of our local veterans.
