LEC Cares

LEC Cares LEC Cares is a Non-Profit that helps underprivileged children in our surrounding communities to celebrate Christmas.

LaPlace Equipment Company is partnering with local organizations to make the holiday brighter for several local families struggling with poverty, domestic abuse, and other hardships. We partner with our local agencies, such as the Sheriff’s department, District Attorney’s office, local school boards, and the United Way, and they are able to help us identify families in need of help. In past years,

we have been able to provide gifts from the children’s wish lists, gift cards, food for entire families, and even a donated vehicle to a family without transportation. Every year, we have been able to help between 20-40 kids to celebrate a Christmas that they would not have been able to have otherwise.
