Tonight is youth night! All kids who attended our volleyball camp or played Optimist get in free to tonight’s game! They will be announced and come out on the floor between the JV and Varsity game. Come out and support the girls!

Jersey Jeff's next date in Lapel is August 29 during Optimist Football. If you want to get your Lapel jerseys and/or lights ordered ASAP to receive in 2 to 3 weeks, use the attached order form. You can then text Jeff McKinney at 317-371-2435 or email your order to Jeff at [email protected]
He can then get your payment from Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or Apple Pay. Make sure you fill out all the information for him!

With the canceled game, Jersey Jeff will be set up today inside the Optimist Club from 12:00 - 2:00 today to take orders. He will have some jerseys and lights available for sale also.

The high school football game has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Saturday at 1 o’clock. There will be a table for the jerseys and light orders. Look for the Optimist Club sign.

More information on the jerseys and lights

1.) Football Jerseys - we will offer a customizable, fully stitched football jersey that is a replica of this year's LHS jersey. This is a very high-quality jersey and again is fully stitched (no heat transfer). You can customize with any name and/or number. There will also be a limited number of Senior #27 and Bulldogs #1 jerseys available, while supplies last. Available sizes: Youth Small - X-Large, Women's and Men’s Small - 3XL (larger sizes available at an additional cost).

2.) LED Sign - We have specially designed an LED sign that replicates the LHS logo. It's an electric/USB acrylic sign, with a dimmable switch. Approximately 12' x 15".

Jerseys and signs are $45 each and all profits support the Lapel Youth Athletics Football program.

You will have the chance to preorder in a couple of ways:

1.) Jeff will be at the Youth League field on Saturdays in August and September. You can see samples, place an order and pick up your order.

2.) He will also be at the LHS games on August 14th, Sept 18th and Sept 25th to show samples, and take and deliver orders.

Please note the jerseys take approximately 3 weeks to receive. The signs will arrive in September. All orders are pre-paid and you can pay via cash, most money apps and check (sorry no debit or charge cards).

Friday Night Lights has a new meaning! The Optimist Club is beginning a fundraiser this coming Friday at the high school scrimmage game. There will be a table set up taking orders for custom Lapel jerseys. Pick your number and name on the back and they will be made to order. We will also be selling a neon light in the Bulldog image. All items are $45. Jerseys are sewn on, not heat pressed! We will also be set up at a few home games and on Saturdays at the Optimist little league field. Cash or check at time of order! He also accepts Venmo, Zelle, and Cash app.

YOUTH FOOTBALL signups are in the final days! Team draft/coach meeting is next Thursday, August 6. Make sure you are signed up so that all players on the draft list. Equipment day is Saturday, August 8 and practices start the following Monday. First game day is Saturday, August 29, final regular season games on Saturday, October 10, and Super Bowl games on Wednesday evening, October 14. FLAG: 1st & 2nd grades
TACKLE: 3rd & 4th grades league, and 5th & 6th grade leagues.
$85 for tackle, all equipment and jersey provided. $60 for flag, team jersey provided. Equipment and jerseys will be collected on the final game day. Don't forget to sign up in the next few days! Youth cheer for Lapel students, grades 3 through 6. Teams will cheer for the Lapel Youth Football teams on fall Saturdays. Uniform and pompoms provided.
