Look at these salaries starting in 2020!!!
SHERIFF'S and numerous County employees have been told repeatedly the COUNTY cannot afford to raise salaries....Well take a look at who they CAN raise.... Priorities, WANTS vs NEEDS?????

How many years have EMPLOYEES been told NO raises...
We have NO Money... Looks like SOME ELECTED OFFICIALS take care of themselves????
This does not reflect the bonus packages of new roads, drains, gas, cars, boats, payouts, etc!

The County Council started with $99,675,442.80 at the beginning of 2024!!!
The Council ended they year with $107,052,834.88
This County Council made a PROFIT of $7,377,392.08!!!!!!!
And they want to raise the PSAP tax?????
Has everyone LOST their minds!
What can you do..... Share post.... Show up at meetings.... Speak out.... Register to VOTE!
People must fill seats on Sept 9, 2025 at 6 pm, County Building and tell every elected official they have more than enough money, start living within their means!!!
Their is plenty of money to RAISE the officers SALARIES, what they were PROMISED and then Some!
Four of these elected office holders are from last year....Yes, Ben Gale and Indiana State Trooper Anthony Emery have stuck it to the Council!!!!
Bethany Keller is the only one who gets it and keeps saying NO!
This same Council bends over backwards drooling to give the commissioners money and now you need the Commissioners and they throw the Council under the BUS, while sacrificing our officers?
I WANT to Know who authorized all these raises in these two offices alone??? The County Council is responsible for the management of this.....
You want to balance a budget start with taking the Commissioners Salaries, perks, benefits and get rid of their secretaries! They made Kelly Gaskill suffer and she did an amazing job getting the job done! So it is achievable!
The amount of disrespect from this entire Council to make officers wait, take your dinner and not move them up to be heard, should be screaming at EVERYONE in this County that elected officials want your VOTE but not your VOICE and they do NOT care who you are!
While many of you worry about me and how these elected officials will come after me....
My concern is about the people, the lies and the Corruption, coming from a few BAD actors! WE deserve better!
If I was a County employee, who has NOT had a raise, I would be at that meeting September 9th and making sure it is standing room only....

On a happier note... The Council did "DEFUND" the Madison County Parks Board, for this budget...
So with NO funding in site... they will allow them to continue to spend the $4 million of ARPA money, but they will have no way to maintain it????
And if they go OVER budget.... then everyone can sit and look at a black hole!
I can't make this stuff up....this is reckless spending... Can this County get anymore irresponsible with $4 million dollars????
I do NOT want to hear another word about raising taxes!!
