It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Paul Joseph Doute Jr.

Paul was a valued partner with Anglers Quest, a proud sponsor and supporter of Fishin’ 4 Vets, and, most importantly, a beloved friend of Larry Billings and so many others in our fishing community.

Paul’s friendship, generosity, and support for our mission meant more than words can say. People like Paul are a reminder that Fishin’ 4 Vets is more than an event—it is a community built around friendship, giving back, and showing up for one another.

Our hearts are with Paul’s family, Larry, his friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him during this incredibly difficult time.
Paul, thank you for believing in what we do, for supporting our veterans, and for being part of the Fishin’ 4 Vets family. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Another great day on the water for Fishin’ 4 Vets! 🇺🇸🎣

Today we had the honor of fishing with Army veteran Jeff Hulet and Marine Corps veteran Kevin Wood. We ended the day with 32 fish and a fun mixed bag of farm fish! More importantly, it was a day filled with great stories, plenty of laughs, and even better company.

Thank you both for your service and for spending the day with us. We truly appreciate everything you’ve done for our country.

At Fishin’ 4 Vets, this weekend means more than just time on the water — it’s about remembering the heroes who never made it home and showing appreciation for all who have served our country.

We’re honored to share the National Anthem performed by Gabi Reinbold at this year’s event — a powerful reminder of what this weekend truly stands for.

Please take a moment this weekend to reflect, fly your flag proudly, and keep the families of our fallen heroes in your thoughts.

As long as weather permits. I have 2 spots open on “Tin Grin II” for Veterans that were unable to make it too our event last weekend!!

We leave Sebewaing Harbor Marina at 0700
