If you are considering to give a financial contribution of any amount, please know three things about us:
1. Your prayers are the most important thing of all, to us. Even if you cannot give or decide not to give, we are SO grateful that you pray for us and pray for the wonderful people we serve. God listens to your prayers and strengthens us and guides us!!!
2. EVERY dollar that you give is used
directly to help the people of Haiti. In other words, if you give $25 for a large bag of rice or other supplies or services, or to help start a small business, ALL of that $25 goes directly for Haitian support. NONE of your contribution will be used for administrative expenses or any other expenses. Our other expenses, such as administrative, travel, etc., come from other funds, not from your donation. We purchase our food, medical, and other supplies and services exclusively from Haitian small businesses, with very rare exceptions. By doing this, we are not only serving our Haitian friends and families, but we are supporting small businesses to support their families as well!! Another thing we are so committed to doing. About our organization:
Since October, 2012, we have been exploring, developing, asking questions, & praying earnestly for our mission in Haiti, knowing that this would lead us to define exactly what we will do in the years to come . . . & now we have it, with our mission statement: "Fulfilling emergency needs & developing self-supporting families wherever God leads us throughout Haiti!" What’s so cool is how the details of our operations & projects naturally expand from those two purposes, and perhaps more importantly, show us what NOT to do as well!
