On this day dedicated to love, we are remembering Jean Anderson Thiemkey who was born on Valentine’s Day! She loved grammar, American literature, traveling, card games and her family. Jean was dedicated to helping students secure scholarships to further their education.

Congratulations to Lydia Fieribend who received the 2022 Jean and Stewart Thiemkey Health and Human Services Scholarship. Our family is excited to add a new scholarship this year and honored to celebrate Lydia as the first recipient. She is pursuing a career as an ABA therapist to work with children and their families. Lydia’s work ethic, experience in the field and passion to serve others are a combination that are sure to propel her far.

Congratulations to Tessa Knickerbocker who received the 2022 Jean and Stewart Thiemkey Education Scholarship. This marks the twenty-third year of awarding scholarships to future educators. Tessa stated that she desires for every student to feel loved and cared for as they learn in her classroom. Best wishes as you continue your studies Tessa!
