🐻Fred the Bear Found His “Furever” Home! 🐻

In the fall of 2025 Fred joined the MSU Extension staff as a donation for the 2026 4-H Annual Fundraiser Auction. Upon learning how well Fred fit into our office, Jim Novak of The Bells Event Center, Almont and host to the Auction bought Fred and then generously donated him to our office.

We are “furever” grateful for this kind gesture and we welcome everyone to stop by and meet Fred the Bells Bear. He would be happy to share information about 4-H and MSU Extension activities.

Doors open tomorrow at 8:00am! Join us for our 40th Annual Fundraiser Auction at The Bells Event Center in Almont! All proceeds support Lapeer County 4-H.

Tonight's the night! Doors open at 5:00pm for our 33rd Celebrity Autographed Items Auction at The Bells Event Center in Almont. There are hundreds of autographed items from some of the biggest names in sports, politics, music, movies, writers and more! Admission is free! Bring a friend and have some fun!

Funds raised through the fundraiser auctions assist with the costs of: 4-H club activities, local and state educational workshops, conferences, camp, leadership training, community service, college scholarships and more.
