We extend our sincere gratitude to Lapeer Mancinos, our new Silver Sponsor, for supporting our mission to raise funds for the YOR Fund. By joining us, Lapeer Mancinos is helping to empower Lapeer County youth to engage in outdoor activities and develop essential team-building skills. We appreciate their commitment to our cause. All proceeds generated will be directly allocated to supporting local children who may not have the financial resources to participate in sports, camps, or acquire necessary equipment. A straightforward application process is available for families interested in enrolling their children. For further information, please visit https://www.crank4acause.org/yorfund.

📢 IMPORTANT RIDER UPDATE: Getting to Spring R&R (June 6th) 🚴‍♂️🌲

Hey Spring R&R racers! As we gear up for this Saturday, June 6th, please pay close attention to the parking and entry logistics. We are NOT using the main entrance of D-Bar-A Scout Ranch for this event. Instead, everyone will enter and park via the Wilder Road Access Gate.

Please refer to the updated map file

📍 Gate Location / GPS Pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/MXuvaxv8VZHB9q4V9

🚗 Parking: Located in the designated field right inside the Wilder Road gate (highlighted yellow on the map).

⚠️ Essential Route Info & Road Conditions:
The Smoothest Route (Save your car and your bike rack): The absolute least amount of dirt road is taking Dryden Road to Wilder Road, and heading north to the gate.

Road Condition Warning: Avoid coming down Wilder Road from the north if you can. Wilder Road north of Sutton Road is much more bumpy, washboarded, and rough compared to the smoother stretch of Wilder Road coming north from Dryden Road. Save your energy for the race, not the potholes!

🗺️ Driving Directions

Option 1: From M-24 (Coming North or South)
From the North (Lapeer area): Head south on M-24, then turn east (left) onto Dryden Road. Drive east for approximately 4.5 miles until you hit Wilder Road. Turn north (left) onto Wilder Road and proceed just under 1 mile to the Wilder Road Access entrance on your left.

From the South (Oxford/Detroit area): Head north on M-24, then turn east (right) onto Dryden Road. Drive east for approximately 4.5 miles, turn north (left) onto Wilder Road, and go just under 1 mile to the entrance.

Option 2: From I-69 (Via Wilder Road Exit 159)
From the West (Flint area): Take I-69 east to Exit 159 for Wilder Road. Turn south (right) onto Wilder Road. Drive south for roughly 6.5 miles. (Note: As you get to the dirt section heading south, the road gets quite rough and washboarded.) The entrance gate will be on your right just before you hit Dryden Road.

From the East (Port Huron area): Take I-69 west to Exit 159 for Wilder Road. Turn south (left) onto Wilder Road and proceed south for roughly 6.5 miles down to the gate entrance on your right.

📏 Quick Mileage Guide to the Wilder Road Entrance:
From Dryden Road: ~0.9 miles north on Wilder Road.

From M-24 (via Dryden Rd): ~5.4 miles total.

From I-69 (Exit 159): ~6.5 miles south on Wilder Road.

Get your bikes ready, drive safe, and we will see you at the Wilder Road gate on Saturday! 🏁

HEY LAPEER!! If you may have a few free hours this Saturday, we really could use your help as volunteers for this weekend’s SPRING R&R! You will be a part of helping raising funds for our very own Lapeer County youth that may not have the means to have an active life in an outdoor sport or camp the love. Come help us make this event successful and fun for all!

Grondin's Hair Centers-Paul N. Grondin, Inc. once again has blessed this years SPRING R&R with their support as a Gold Sponsor! The Grondin’s have locations throughout South East Michigan to serve you. Their Schools of cosmetology have been training stylist for years and their support for their community is second to none.

The YOR Fund will be able to continue Lapeer County youth through this kind of support. Next Saturday June 6, 2026 at 8:30 am the racing begins. Starting at D-Bar-A Scout Ranch and rolling over some of Metamora and Dryden area gravel roads and back to the Ranch where three food trucks and a beer and beverage tent awaits the finishers. Spectators are more than welcome to watch the racers take off and finish while you grab a bite to eat from two of our food trucks then grab a snack from Kona Ice of Oxford. Grab a beer of your liking and cheer on the racers. All proceeds go directly back into Lapeer County youth as they strive to stay active in the activities of their choice.

Camping with us is also available through Mitten Outdoor Adventures & Events or for more information visit us at

The Spring R&R 5K takes runners through the fast, flowing terrain of the D-Bar-A Ranch, combining scenic singletrack with rugged two-track sections. The 3.08-mile course packs in roughly 150 feet of elevation, delivering a mix of punchy climbs, smooth descents, and wooded trails that keep the pace exciting from start to finish. The 10K doubles the challenge with two full laps of the 5K course, rewarding runners who can stay consistent and manage their effort over repeated terrain.
