The Community Box is stocked for today 🌿

We’ve got tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, a bunch of different peppers, and bags of cucamelons ready to go!

Stop by and take what you can use. As always, everything is here to be shared with our community 💚

Today’s Harvest! 🌾

The stand is stocked with lots of fresh goodies today!

We have tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, basil, parsley, jalapeños, bell peppers, poblano peppers, and several bags of cucamelons tucked at the bottom!

As always, everything is free to our community. Take what you can use, leave some for your neighbors, and donations are always appreciated but never required 🫶

I’m heading out of town this weekend, but I’ll be home Sunday morning and decided I might as well bake! 💚

I’m opening a few preorder spots for:
- Sunday, Aug. 30 (Afternoon-Evening Pickup)
- Wednesday, Sept. 2 (Evening Pickup)
- Thursday, Sept. 3 (Evening Pickup)
- Saturday, Sept. 5 (Afternoon-Evening Pickup)

If there’s enough interest, I’ll add Sundays in September too!

A little bit of yesterday’s bake sale is out at the Maija’s Garden & Goods stand FREE today! 🌿

Nothing going to waste over here. I actually got to meet and talk with someone who stopped by to grab some goodies while I was outside with my boys, and that made me so happy. 🥹

There are still some fresh baked goodies from yesterday available, so if you’re nearby, feel free to stop and grab yourself a treat while they last!

This is one of my favorite parts of Maija’s Garden & Goods. Whether something is sold or shared, I love knowing it’s going to someone who can enjoy it.

A little update from yesterday’s Maija’s Garden & Goods bake sale 🍪

My first little trial run didn’t end up bringing in any sales, but I did get some taste testers in the family 😂 and the strawberry crumble bars were definitely the favorite! My boys were also big fans of the pumpkin dark chocolate chip cookies!

Nothing is going to waste! Some of what I made is being donated to a little girl’s birthday party today, some will go to friends and family, and if I have anything left after that, I’ll put it out FREE at the Maija’s Garden & Goods stand🤍

I’m going to give the bake sale another try next Saturday with a much smaller, limited menu and see how it goes. I’d love for this to become something I can do more regularly, but I also want to make sure there’s enough interest before putting too much time and money into it.

Fresh zucchini and cucumbers are available today, and some of them are HUGE! 🥒

We had some leftover homemade cookies that my family wasn’t going to eat, so I put them out in the community box! 🍪 There are brownie chocolate chip cookies and regular chocolate chip cookies. They’re free, just please take what you’ll use so more people can enjoy them.

Well… I definitely wasn’t expecting to wake up to an empty Community Box and almost double the followers overnight 🥹

My goal has never been to gain as many followers as possible. I just want to give back to my community. Gardening helped me through some really hard times, and now I get to share what I grow with other families.

Everything is grown without pesticides or herbicides using organic fertilizers, and every donation goes right back into next year’s garden.

I’ll keep updating this page whenever I restock the Community Box. I also have some fun ideas for both this page and Sage Cleaning Services to give back even more.

If all goes as planned, I’ll have cucamelons available for sale later this season! They’re not something you see around here very often, so I’m excited to share them.
