Each year, we have the privilege of meeting outstanding students through our scholarship essay competition. Their intelligence, determination, and passion for making a difference leave us inspired and hopeful for the future.

The "Boop" Memorial Golf Outing is on Saturday, May 23! This special event is held in memory of Beverly "Boop" Starrak and supports our mission to walk alongside families in the Lansing area with care and tangible support.

It’s a day filled with golf, a silent auction, and great food—all for a cause dear to Beverly’s heart!

What an incredible day at Kiwanis ONE Michigan District! 💙✨

Today, Kiwanis clubs from across Michigan came together for a full day of connection, collaboration, and community impact. From leadership panels and engagement strategies to retention best practices, district updates, and awards, the focus was clear—building stronger clubs to create stronger communities.

We are especially proud of our amazing President, Angela Averill, who represented our club on the 11:15 AM panel: Helping Your Club Help Themselves: Nurturing & Retention Best Practices. She shared valuable insight with fellow leaders on strengthening club culture, supporting members, and creating lasting impact through service and leadership.

Watching our President lead with passion and purpose is always inspiring, and today was no exception. We are proud to be part of an organization filled with servant-hearted leaders dedicated to making a real difference.

So grateful for a community that shows up in such a big way for scholarships for The Literacy Camp The Literacy Camp 💙📚

Because of this community, more local children will have the opportunity to attend The Literacy Camp® on scholarship this summer—and that matters more than words can say.

We even had a featured young author at the event—a former Literacy Camp® camper who wrote his own book and was there selling copies. It was the sweetest, most full-circle moment. 🤍

The night was a huge success—but more than that, it was a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when people come together to do GOOD. ✨

Our agency recently nominated Believers Food Pantry for a grant with the Agent Charitable Fund - Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan . We are pleased that they were selected for a $2,500 grant. This grant will help Believers provide food assistance to families in need. ❤️

Believers Food Pantry is out here supporting our community at Ace Hardware in Grand Ledge! Go check them out and make sure to bring your canned goods or consider donating in $$. Your $$ goes farther at Believers with $1 feeding 3 families!! Help them out today and grab yourself some yummy BBQ from the food truck. Make sure to check out acme home services while you’re there!
