A reminder that our Personal Needs Pantry, located inside our Cristo Ray Campus, is open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and no appointment is necessary. Clients may visit twice per month and may visit once per month for diapers.

As Thanksgiving approaches, East Lansing High School and the ELHS National Honor Society are once again partnering with Christian Services to help provide Thanksgiving baskets to local families. If your family could use a little extra support this holiday season, we encourage you to reach out. đź’›

Registration Dates: October 12–29, 2026

Please register by October 29. All requests must go directly through Christian Services, rather than East Lansing Public Schools, to help ensure that families are connected with assistance and that baskets can be coordinated effectively. Christian Services can be reached at 517-394-5411.

Grace United Methodist Church in Lansing will be hosting a mobile food pantry.
They are located on the opposite end of the parking lot from South Lansing MInistries.

The event starts at 9 am. You will stay in you car as volunteers place the food in your trunk / back seat.

MOBILE FOOD PANTRY THIS WEEKEND
Grace UMC, which is at the opposite end of the parking lot of South Lansing Ministries, will be hosting a mobile food pantry on October 17th.

It starts at 9 am.
Drivers and passengers are required to stay in vehicles at all times. Restrooms are not available.

Food will be placed in your trunk or backseat. (So please clean out space in your trunk / backseat to make room for the food.)

If you are feeling sick, please stay home and arrange for someone to pick up food for you.

Please do not line up more than 30 minutes in advance of the distribution’s scheduled start time.

This ensures a smooth set up process for GLFB staff and volunteers, and prevents delays and other logistics issues.
